HIDs Hierarchy Diagrams (HIDs)

Hierarchy Diagrams (HIDs)

Open HID from an Item

When the links between various items becomes more complex, it is really useful to be able to see a wider picture. For example, if a change were to be made to the original requirement 1.4, what are the other items which would be impacted.

By selecting the requirement from a query or opening it directly by name, the tree of items connected to it can be seen by selecting the HID button on the toolbar.

This diagram shows the expansion of requirement 1.4.

The content of each item in the diagram, number of levels and item details, can be customised to show anything from just the item's ID to item categories and frame text.
