Evaluation Start-Up

To create a New Project you must Open Cradle Menu.

From the Cradle Menu click on Projects => Create Project ...


Creating a New Project

This produces the Create Project dialogue:

Title: The British Car Park Project..

Project Code: BCPP

Project ID: BCPP01

Schema: Default

The Pathname: is the location where you wish to store your project. It can be located anywhere you choose. Ensure you have permissions in the directory where you wish to save the project and that all the users of the project have access to that location. See your Systems Administrator if unsure .

Click on OK.

This will create an empty project based on the default schema.

When you choose to log into your new project, you will need to specify the Project Code you named in the Project code field of the Create Project diologue box. In this case it would be: BCPP.

To log in to the newly created project, from the Cradle Menu, the following login details would be required for the newly Created British Car Park Project:

(Login details for Workbench)


Password is manager

 

Steps:

  1. Create a project using the Cradle Menu You Are Here.
  2. Capture Requirements from a Microsoft® Word® document
  3. Import Diagrams in Toolset or WorkBench
  4. Manually link Requirements to Functions
  5. Produce matrix from Requirements to Functions
  6. Produce matrix from Functions to Architecture
  7. Create User Requirement Document in Publisher.
  8. Produce a final document showing links from Requirements to Functions, links from Functions to Architecture and transient links from Requirementss to architecture and the Final Specifications.
