Welcome to the 3SL Cradle-5.7
Evaluation Start-Up
The functionality of the system was analysed and this produced the behaviour of the system as modelled in the Behaviour diagrams. The list of essential functions was derived from these diagrams.
The implementation model is demonstrated by the Physical Architecture Diagram. This provides a diagram of the system as a physical entity. From this a list of Implementation Specifications is derived.
Linking the Implementation Specifications to the Essential Functions will show how the system performs and ties the essential model to the implementation model.
This is performed in the same way as linking the functions to the requirements:

At this point the requirements are linked to functions which in-turn are linked to architecture. You may wish to display this as a table or a matrix:

You may also display the transient links of requirements linked to architecture via the combined links through functions:

Steps:
- Create a project using the Cradle Menu

- Capture requirements from a Microsoft® Word® document

- Import Diagrams in Toolset or WorkBench

- Manually link Requirements to Functions

- Produce matrix from requirements to functions

- Produce matrix from functions to Architecture
- Create User Requirement Document in Publisher.
- Produce a final document showing links from Requirements to Functions, links from Functions to Architecture and transient links from Requirements to Architecture and the Final Specifications.
