Welcome to the 3SL Cradle-5.7
Evaluation Start-Up

The scope of Document Publisher is much greater than simply listing items. It can produce documents that demonstrate many different facets of the systems being analysed/designed/implemented and show the project in many different ways.

To demonstrate this, open Toolset and import the file CarParkFinal.exp. Overwrite On.
(From C:/Program files/Cradle/help/startup-guide/Examples/CarParkFinal.exp)

Open the Document Publisher again and select the second template:
C:/Program Files/Cradle/help/startup-guide/Examples/CarparkSystemfunctionality.doc

Generate Output

Specify a location on your machine and select Publish. A document will be generated that contains several parts of the project linked and in context

Thank you for completing our simple evaluation project. Please experiment by adding new items and links and creating new templates. To learn more about creating templates click here.

The next step is to create your own project and use your own data.

Steps:

  1. Create a project using the Cradle Menu Done
  2. Capture requirements from a Microsoft® Word® documentDone
  3. Import Diagrams in Toolset or WorkBench Done
  4. Manually link Requirements to Functions Done
  5. Produce matrix from requirements to functionsDone
  6. Produce matrix from functions to Architecture Done
  7. Create User Requirement Document in DOC. Done
  8. Produce a final document showing links from reqs to functions, links from functions to architecture and transient links from reqs to architecture and the final specifications. You Are Here.
