Cradle Modules

Cradle PDM PDM (Project Data Management) provides the basic
project infrastructure, supporting access control and
user accounts, an extensible project schema,
integral alerts, configuration management and open
external interfaces.
Cradle REQ REQ (Requirements Management) provides
requirements management from multi-version
external source documents, Word/Excel plug-ins, to
baselined, engineered requirements.
Cradle MET

MET (Metrics) provides a metrics tool to gather and
analyse project statistics from live project data. This
allows you to analyse relationships between project
variables in a visually cohesive manner providing
instant understanding of inter related issues.

Cradle SYS SYS (Systems Modelling) provides a flexible and
integrated analysis and design modelling
environment, with supportive functional, UML,
behavioural, architectural and process modelling in
well known model topologies.
Cradle PERF

PERF (Performance Modelling) provides pre-
simulation predictive performance assessment,
budget apportionment and data aggregation.

Cradle SWE SWE (Software Engineering) provides code
generation and reverse engineering to synchronise
the detailed design and code base.
Cradle DOC DOC (Document Generation ) provides user-defined
project document generation and a formal document
register of project deliverables. Delivering project
data in user-definable formats.
Cradle WEBP WEBP (Web Publishing) provides web publishing of
project data for dissemination to both stakeholder
and user communities.
Cradle WEBA

WEBA (Web Access) allows controlled read-write
access to project data through web browsers and
the Cradle Web Server.

Cradle WRK WRK (WorkBench) allows customisable access to
project data to create specialised or tailored
environments (e.g., custom views or queries) for
any group of project engineers, stakeholders or
users.

Cradle is full-lifecycle, multi-user, multi-project, open, distributed and extensible. It will operate with your existing tools to create a tailored environment to suit your process, whatever your project needs.

By tracing requirements into its rich set of analysis, architecture and design modelling notations, performance, test and interface management, and metrics, Cradle solves the problem of integrating point tools. If you have such point tools, Cradle will integrate them, empowering them with the web-enabled Cradle infrastructure.

Cradle offers three access levels to meet the need of Integrated Project Teams for shared data environments to present multiple views of project data, tailored to each audience.

From engineering toolsets, through fully customisable data navigation, review and entry tools, to tailored web access, Cradle offers the right tool for each user.

Each project has an arbitrarily extensible database that can link external files, URL resources and data in external repositories. Each database is configuration controlled, with edit histories, baselines, versions and variants and is managed by a configurable set of change requests and change tasks. Therefore you are ALWAYS in control of the project data and have full traceability and accountability.

Cradle supports off-line and remote access from geographically separate groups. Full internet / intranet / dial-up access support is provided, with full support for project and company firewalls. Your distributed teams can collaborate as one cohesive unitary unit.

Cradle integrates the team, however it may be dispersed, with tailorable annotations, alerts and e-mail links. Every stakeholder remains fully informed as the status of the parts of a project for which they are responsible.

Cradle is modular, with floating, dynamic licensing to share licences efficiently across the project team, between sites, and across the Internet / intranet.
