Old Versions of Cradle
3SL’s policy is to actively support the current release of Cradle (and all updates to it) and the two immediately preceding versions of Cradle (and all of their updates).
Now that Cradle-5.5.1 has been released, we are supporting Cradle-5.5, 5.4 and 5.3, and their updates, but we are no longer actively supporting Cradle-5.2, nor any of its updates.
Since the last update to Cradle-5.2 was Cradle-5.2.2 released in November 2005, which is only a little more than a year ago, we will continue to support Cradle-5.2.2 until the release of Cradle-5.6. However, our support of Cradle-5.2.2 and any previous version of Cradle is now limited to:
- Responding to questions about its functionality
- Providing new Security Codes
- Supporting new installations or migrations to new hardware
- Verifying that any problems reported in the behaviour of Cradle-5.2.2 have been either corrected or extended (as appropriate) in Cradle-5.5 and any later releases
Specifically, 3SL regrets to advise that we no longer offer any code fixes or any updates to Cradle-5.2.2 nor any previous version of Cradle.
We are aware that some customer sites have not upgraded to Cradle-5.3 or later. 3SL will work closely with these sites to assist making the transition to Cradle-5.5.1 as easy as possible. |
