Cradle-6.3 includes a new set of frame types that provide links to OpenOffice documents:

• OO CALC for OpenOffice spreadsheets
• OO DRAW for OpenOffice drawings
• OO IMPRESS for OpenOffice presentations
• OO WRITER for OpenOffice documents

Cradle-6.3 also includes a new Command Directive $OOFFICE that will automatically reference an OpenOffice installation. This new directive is supported on all versions of Windows, Linux and UNIX supported by Cradle.

OpenOffice is a very powerful suite of desktop tools that is free, available for UNIX, Linux and Windows, and fully supports the Microsoft Office document formats. It is based on truly open standards and provides extensive functionality and integration between all aspects of office document preparation and processing.
