OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) is a not-for-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society. The consortium produces more Web services standards than any other organization along with standards for security, e-business, and standardization efforts in the public sector and for application-specific markets. Founded in 1993, OASIS has more than 5,000 participants representing over 600 organizations and individual members in 100 countries.
3SL is pleased to announce that we joined the OASIS community in July 2009. We have a special interest in Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standardisation project. For further details, click here.
We have been working actively within the CMIS community in OASIS, particularly related to the development and review of the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) Version 1.0 specification.
3SL is firmly committed to working within the standardisation community to develop open and vendor-neutral standards, especially as these relate to the development, storage and communication of requirements management and systems engineering information.
