From the 6th of January 2010, 3SL will be using a new facility for our webinars.
For many years we have used facilities provided by WebEx, with our webinars provided at the URL: http://threesl.webex.com.
From the 6th of January 2010, our webinars will be provided through NTRmeeting. All of the same facilities will be available as we have provided in previous webinars, and indeed this new webinar mechanism provides additional facilities.
If you are invited to a 3SL webinar, you will continue to receive an e-mail with a link that you can click to join the meeting. You can use either Firefox or Internet Explorer. You will not need to download and run an ActiveX or Java control to join these webinars, which is one of the several advantages offered by this new technology. When you click the link in the e-mail, your web browser will either open a new window that will be directly inside the webinar, or your web browser will show a temporary page as you wait in the lobby until the meeting is started. You can provide feedback to the presenter during the webinar, both via a chat facility and also by clicking a simple feedback icon to express your opinion to the presenter whilst the webinar is underway.
We will be able to present documents to you, and to share 3SL PC desktops for Cradle product demonstrations and technical support sessions. If you wish to, you can share your desktop, or a single application, with 3SL so that we can help you to resolve a problem that you may have with Cradle.
The new webinar facility is very simple to use and fast.
