Old Versions of Cradle

3SL’s policy is to actively support the current release of Cradle (and all updates to it) and the immediately preceding version of Cradle (and all of its updates).

Now that Cradle-5.1 has been released, we are supporting Cradle-5 and Cradle-5.1, but we are no longer actively supporting Cradle-4, nor any of its updates.

Since the last update to Cradle-4 was Cradle-4.0U329 released in November 2003, which is only a little more than a year ago, we will continue to support Cradle-4 until the release of Cradle-5.2. However, our support of Cradle-4 is now limited to:

• Responding to questions about its functionality
• Providing new Security Codes
• Supporting new installations or migrations to new hardware
• Verifying that any problems reported in the behaviour of Cradle-4 have been either corrected or extended (as appropriate) in Cradle-5 and later releases

Specifically, 3SL regrets to advise that we will now no longer offer any code fixes nor any updates to Cradle-4.

We know which sites have not upgraded to Cradle-5, and we will now work closely with these sites to help them to make the transition to Cradle-5.
