New 3SL Contact Us Live

3SL is pleased to announce that on 18 th January 2010 we introduced a new Contact Us Live facility into the 3SL website! This allows you to instantly connect directly to 3SL for a quick chat about any topic; you can also leave us messages if we are not available when you contact us!

The Contact Us Live facility is accessed through a new:

button in our homepage and also in the main support page in our website:

You can use this facility for any sort of conversation with 3SL, such as:

  • Technical support questions
  • Sales enquiries
  • Website queries
  • Anything else…!

This new facility is only available to registered users of our website who have access to the website’s Download area. So to chat to 3SL, please go to our website and login with your account.

Chats

If you click this button, then a new chat window will appear:

In this window you will be connected to someone in 3SL. Their name will appear at the top of the transcript panel on the left hand side of the window.

You can type a question into the window:

and click Send or press RETURN and your message will appear in the transcript:

When the 3SL operator is typing a reply to your question, the:

will change to:

and their reply to your question will be shown in the transcript:

Chat Transcripts

If you want a copy of your conversation with 3SL, then select the Receive Transcript button:

and enter your e-mail address and select Accept:

You will receive an e-mail with a full record of your dialogue with 3SL.

Receiving Files

If your conversation with 3SL needs us to send information to you, then the files that we send will appear as links in the chat window:

You can click the link to download the file. This is an alternative to us sending the file(s) to you by e-mail or as downloads from your area on our FTP server (if you have one).

Close the Conversation

When you have finished talking to 3SL, select the Close button:

on the left hand side of the chat window and a confirmation message will appear:

Select OK to close your conversation with 3SL.

Leaving Messages

If there are no 3SL operators available when you want to talk to us, the:

button will appear as:

If you click this button, you can record a message in the following window:

When you have completed your message, click Send and the message will be sent to 3SL:

We will receive the message when our operators re-connect to our website.

We will reply to your message by e-mail as quickly as we can!
