3SL is pleased to announce that our website will soon be extended to include a Computer Based Training (CBT) facility!
This new capability will provide a mechanism to register one or more people from an organisation for a specific course or class for a specific period of time. During that period of time, these people will be able to access the courses for which they have been enrolled through the CBT area in our website.
The CBT facility is initially intended to provide continued access to 3SL’s training materials for a specific period after 3SL has delivered a course or class at your site.
You will have access to the same materials, including workbooks and hands-on exercises, as were provided to you by your 3SL instructor. The materials will be provided as a set of web pages that you can explore at your leisure and convenience. The CBT area will remember which courses you are enrolled for, and how far you have progressed through each of them.
This means that it will be easy for you to refresh your memory of specific aspects of Cradle and to work through the examples at a time and pace that is convenient to you.
At some time after this initial CBT facility becomes available, we will extend it to allow it to be used as part of a distance teaching approach. This will mean that your organisation will not necessarily need to bring a 3SL trainer to your site, but instead your organisation will enrol you for one or more Cradle courses or classes which will be delivered exclusively through the CBT area in our website.
