Want to save your current progress and return at a later date?<\/p>\n<p>You can use a session to save a snapshot of <em>Document Loader<\/em>, so you can return to the same point at a later time. Sessions are useful when working with large documents or if you need to shutdown your PC for any reason.<\/p>\n<h2>What is a Session?<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/cradle\/help\/7.2\/Document%20Loader\/Other\/CH8_Sessions.htm\">Sessions<\/a> store information about the state of <em>Document Loader<\/em> at a given point, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of the current document<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the current capture setup definition<\/li>\n<li>Which parts of the document have already been captured<\/li>\n<li>The state of the <em>Document Explorer<\/em> tree nodes<\/li>\n<li>Any mappings, e.g. table mappings<\/li>\n<li>Any changes made in the Options dialog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How can I save a Session?<\/h2>\n<p>You can only save a session when working with a new document; not a new version of a document. You can save a session at any time, so long as you have a document open.<\/p>\n<p>To save a session you can either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press the <em>Save Session<\/em> button button from the Toolbar<\/li>\n<li>Select <em>Save Session<\/em> from the <em>File<\/em> pulldown menu<\/li>\n<li>Press <em>Ctrl + S<br \/>\n(<\/em>The Status Bar shows the progress of the Save operation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How can I load\/restore a Session?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>To load a saved session you can either:<\/li>\n<li>Select <em>Load Session<\/em> from the <em>File<\/em> pulldown menu<\/li>\n<li>Press <em>Ctrl + L<\/em><br \/>\nIf you attempt to load a session with a document open you will be prompted to close the current document. You can sort on any column by clicking on its column heading; click once for ascending order and again for descending order.<br \/>\nClick the <em>OK<\/em> button to load the selected session.<\/p>\n<h2>How can I delete a Session?<\/h2>\n<p>To delete a session you need to open the <em>Load Session<\/em> dialog by either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selecting <em>Load Session<\/em> from the <em>File<\/em> pulldown menu<\/li>\n<li>Pressing <em>Ctrl+L<\/em><br \/>\nSelect the appropriate session and press the Delete button.
