Using the option <em>-printdiag<\/em> in <em>c_io.exe<\/em>, a user can then print many diagrams at once. Once the first command line has been set up, it can be copied, pasted. The file name and the identity can be altered for each diagram that the user requires printing.<\/p>\n<p>The options to do this are:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1905\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1905\" style=\"width: 375px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1905\" src=\"https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/printdiag_options.png\" alt=\"printdiag options in c_io.exe\" width=\"375\" height=\"119\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/printdiag_options.png 375w, https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/printdiag_options-300x95.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1905\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The printdiag options in c_io.exe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Required Options<\/h2>\n<p><strong>-printdiag<\/strong> allows a user to set the type of output for the diagram. The types currently used for this are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hpgl &#8211; Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language<\/li>\n<li>ps &#8211; PostScript<\/li>\n<li>rtf &#8211; Rich Text Format<\/li>\n<li>svg &#8211; Scalable Vector Graphics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Elective Options<\/h2>\n<p><strong>-onlydiag<\/strong> will output the diagram without a surrounding frame and the details which the frame contains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-catcode<\/strong> will print the category value in the diagrams border.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-portrait<\/strong> will cause the diagrams to be output into a portrait orientation rather than the default of landscape. This option is only used in conjunction with <strong>-printdiag<\/strong>, it will not work with any other c_io.exe options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-file<\/strong> sets the name and location of the file to be output.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-query<\/strong> set the query to being used and as before <strong>-qloc<\/strong> sets the location<\/p>\n<p><strong>-identity<\/strong> overrides any identity set within the used query<\/p>\n<h2>-printdiag Batch File Examples<\/h2>\n<pre>\"%CRADLEHOME%\\bin\\exe\\windows\\c_io.exe\" -login admin,ADMIN,demo -printdiag svg -file \"C:\\Temp\\DFD_C.svg\" -query \"Diagram - Ess DFD\" -qloc project\u00a0 -identity \"C\"\r\n\r\n\"%CRADLEHOME%\\bin\\exe\\windows\\c_io.exe\" -login admin,ADMIN,demo -printdiag rtf -file \"C:\\Temp\\eFFBD_133.rtf\" -query \"Diagram - Ess eFFBD\" -qloc project -portrait -identity \"1.3.3\" -onlydiag<\/pre>\n<h2>Helpful other c_io options<\/h2>\n<p>There are several helpful options especially when using in a batch file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-log<\/strong> allows a user to specify a name for a log. This is the log that will have the details of the actions performed during the import.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-noldap<\/strong> allows users to bypass using LDAP when running a command line or batch file.<br \/>\n<strong>-errorstack<\/strong> option is for logging any issues with the import<\/p>\n<pre>\"%CRADLEHOME%\\bin\\exe\\windows\\c_io.exe\" -login admin,ADMIN,demo -export \"C:\\Temp\\all3.exp\" -type all -noldap -errorstack -log \"C:\\Temp\\all4_log.log\"\r\n\"%CRADLEHOME%\\bin\\exe\\windows\\c_io.exe\" -login admin,ADMIN,demo -export \"C:\\Temp\\pdb3.exp\" -type pdb -noldap -errorstack -log \"C:\\Temp\\pdb3_log.log\"<\/pre>\n<h2>Options not used within a batch file<\/h2>\n<p>There are a couple of options that are not used in a batch file.
