If, during an install, you receive the error ‘api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing’ this is due to\u00a0Microsoft\u00ae Windows\u00a0<\/em> updates not being applied. To fix this you need to:<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Install Windows updates<\/em> by:\n
      \n
    1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Updates<\/em><\/li>\n
    2. Check for updates<\/li>\n
    3. Install all available updates<\/li>\n
    4. After the updates are installed, restart your computer<\/li>\n
    5. After the restart repeat the steps above again until no more updates are available<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. Once ALL Windows updates have been installed, download the Visual V++ Re-distributable<\/em>\n

      1. For Windows 64-bit: Visual C++ Re-distributable for Visual Studio 2015 (64-bit)<\/em><\/li>\n
      2. For Windows 32-bit: Visual C++ Re-distributable for Visual Studio 2015 (32-bit)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Run the vcredist_x64.exe<\/em> (64-bit) or vcredist_x86.exe<\/em> (32-bit) and select Uninstall<\/em><\/li>\n
      4. Run the setup.exe<\/em> again and select Install<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
