This academic licences offer is made by Structured Software Systems Limited (3SL). It is available to any UK based academic institute to aid their teaching of engineering, and is made at 3SL’s sole discretion. The free licences are conditional on purchasing 12 months support for those licences at a fixed price discounted to \u00a31,000. Its applicable to sales in the U.K. in Pounds Sterling. A licence code will be issued that will enable Cradle to run for 12 months from the date of purchase. The option to purchase further maintenance will be offered at 3SL’s discretion in further years. 3SL reserve the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time. Maintenance entitles the institute to download any upgrades produced for Cradle during the maintenance period. It provides phone and email support from 3SL during the normal UK working week. It does not include training or consultancy which may be purchased separately. A Cradle Licence must conditionally be installed on a single server machine <\/a>and that the machine identity (MAC address) must be supplied to 3SL, to which the licence will be locked. The clients (e.g. WorkBench) may be freely installed on any of the institutes’s machines that have network connectivity to the server. 3SL will require evidence that the product will be used in the teaching arena. A written statement from the institute stating the syllabus\/course details would be acceptable. 3SL’s general and sales terms and conditions will apply, see here<\/a>.
