Leonardo of Pisa, or as we know him Fibonacci,<\/em> spotted a magical pattern in the early 1200.<\/p>\n

Fn<\/sub> = F(n-1)<\/sub> + F(n-2)<\/sub> where F0<\/sub> = 0 and F1<\/sub> = 1 or\u00a0 F1<\/sub> = 1 and F2<\/sub> = 1 as a seed.<\/p>\n

To celebrate\u00a0Fibonacci Day 2017 and this most import sequence, found in nature, mathematics and the basis for the Golden Ratio, we’ve recreated a sequence in Cradle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Using an integer Category<\/em> value FibVal<\/em> and FibRes<\/em> and a calculation FibCalc<\/em>. The calculation<\/em> is set to look at its cross referenced<\/em> children (a downwards navigation<\/em>) and compute a sum based on the aggregate total<\/em> of their FibRes <\/em>category<\/em> and its own seed, held in FibVal<\/em>. The result is assigned to FibRes.<\/em><\/p>\n

The first item were created and and seeded with 0<\/strong>. Then another item created and linked to it and seeded with 1.<\/strong> Thereafter new parent items were created and linked to their two previous children (Seed value of 0<\/em> just to keep calculation valid) .<\/p>\n
