Each time this <em>query<\/em> is run, it will apply the <em>view.<\/em> This is the best way of controlling your<em> initial view<\/em> for a particular <em>query.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Shown in the screen shot below the <em>project view<\/em> &#8216;<strong>results<\/strong>&#8216; has been set in the <em>query<\/em> &#8216;<strong>My Results<\/strong>&#8216; each time this<em> query<\/em> is run the columns specified in the <em>View Details<\/em> are shown. Even if you close all your tabs, within the same session you are controlling your initial view of each query by the last choice you selected.<\/p>\n<h2>Initial Influence<\/h2>\n<p>You can control the <em>initial view<\/em> selected for a <em>query<\/em> in a project by associating a view with an item type in the <em>project&#8217;s schema<\/em>. Open <strong>Project Setup<\/strong> and select the <em>item type<\/em> and an appropriate <em>view.<\/em> When starting Cradle, this will be the <em>view<\/em> selected for this item type, the first time it it is queried.
