Filtering cross references in a query is easy within Cradle.<\/p>\n

Showing Cross References in a Query within Cradle<\/h2>\n

In this example we will create a query that shows links between all system requirements linked to all verifications.<\/p>\n

  1. Create a query<\/a> that shows all system requirements<\/li>\n
  2. Then create a nested view<\/a> which shows links to verification items<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In this example 97 items are returned.<\/p>\n

    Show only Items that have a Linked Item<\/h2>\n

    To only show items that are linked to one or more verification item, edit the Query Details<\/strong> dialog:<\/p>\n

    which displays as follows:<\/p>\n

    As you can see the list of items has now reduced to 43.<\/p>\n

    Show Items where Linked Item has a Category set<\/h2>\n

    To only show items where the verification has a PASS<\/strong> value set in a category, a query is created.<\/p>\n

    1. Create a query<\/a> that only shows verifications that have a Pass<\/strong> value set:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Refer to this query in the Links<\/strong> tab of the Query Details<\/strong> dialog. Note that instead of using To Items<\/strong> set to Of Type<\/strong>, we have chosen Matching Query<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      You can now see the list has reduced to 28 items. These being the system requirements that have a Pass<\/strong> for one or more of the linked verifications.<\/p>\n
