They provide the ability to specify groups of users that are involved in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Configuration_management\">Configuration Management<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/cradle\/help\/7.7\/#projectsetup\/other\/prj_setup_workflows.htm\">workflows<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Using User Lists for Alert Recipients<\/h2>\n<p>However, did you know that <strong>User Lists<\/strong> can also be used to specify groups of users who are to be alert recipients.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.threesl.com\/cradle\/help\/7.7\/#projectsetup\/other\/alerts_prj_settings.htm\">Alerts<\/a> could be invaluable in keeping users automatically informed about important events occurring in the Cradle database, e.g.:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Items have been modified or a specific category changed<\/li>\n<li>Project Setup has been changed<\/li>\n<li>An item has been submitted for review<\/li>\n<li>There has been a reply to a discussion that you are involved in<\/li>\n<li>An item linked to an item owned by your team has changed<\/li>\n<li>etc. etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Setting up a User List<\/h2>\n<p>In Project Setup, you can setup the list of users that you wish to receive the alerts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7892\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7892\"
