3SL is pleased to announce that we want to host an inaugural Cradle User Conference (CUC) in 2013 and we want you to help us to design the event!
We plan to host this event in Huntsville, Alabama, in the US in either October or November 2013. It will be free to attend, so your only costs would be your travel, accommodation and subsistence.
We expect it to be a one day event, but it could potentially be a little longer.
We think that the event could include:
Discussion of the latest Cradle release
Presentation of the roadmap for future Cradle releases
A choice of 1-hour technical tutorials presented by 3SL on specific aspects of Cradle, such as:
Configuration management
Nested tables
Document Loader
Document Publisher
One or more 1-hour problem-solving workshops where you present your problems in open session and we will work through them with you
Customer papers and/or case studies as 30-minute or 1-hour presentations
We want to know your thoughts and opinions on the following topics:
Would you want to attend such an event and, if so, how many people from your organisation would attend?
What dates would be most convenient for you (please provide one or more two-week periods)?
What types of activity would you want to be included in a CUC (perhaps using the above list as a starting point for your comments)?
If you think that 1-hour technical tutorials would be a useful part of the CUC, please tell us what topics you would like to see discussed in such tutorials?
Would you like to present a paper or a case study in your use of Cradle at the CUC?
We want this event to be genuinely useful to you and the only way that this can happen is if you can get involved and tell us what we should provide. So, we want to hear from you!
