Systems Engineering Glossary

Contains a list of the terminology used in requirements management, systems engineering and V&V (validation and verification), including terms used in model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Horizontal Prototype

A partial or possible implementation of a user interface for a software system. Used to evaluate usability and to assess the completeness and correctness of requirements. Also called a behavioural prototype or a mock-up.
